All are welcome, suggested donation is $10-20. Sessions with * focus on sewing a community quilt, all other sessions involve a take-home project.

Backstitch Gatherings are in-person events that feature sewing, letter reading, and discussions around the benefits of making and moving in reverse. The heart of this work centers around 7 hand-stitched and intricately folded letters, each one exploring a different social, environmental, or deeply personal facet of reversing. Each gathering involves a letter reading and discussion, followed by a creative session where attendees learn a particular sewing or fiber art skill, co-led by guest artists.
